世界现存龟类动物230余种,隶属11科72属,除南极外,世界各地均有分布。鳄龟(Chelydra serpentina)别名鳄鱼龟、小鳄鱼龟、肉龟、美国蛇龟、平背鳄龟等,产于美国。1997年我国开始引进。一、鳄龟的特点1、饲养技术简单 鳄龟属淡水栖龟类,如湖、河及水潭。对生活环境要求不高,水温10度以下深度冬眠,15度以下冬眠,15——17度尚能少量活动,18度以上正常进食,20——33度为最佳活动、进食温度,34度以上少量活动,伏在水底及泥沙中避暑。人工饲养条件下,庭院、池塘、网箱等均可饲养。2、生长速度快
