Language is a generalized theory. From the initial formal linguistics to the modern cognitive linguistics, it shows its leapfrog development in the discussion and attention to the language. “King Lear” is a tragedy widely spread in the history of Shakespearean tragedy. Under those circumstances, the essence of language in Shakespearean plays can be seen. Cognitive linguists believe that the meaning of a word is not determined by the set of features or the system of differences in the symbology but by the encyclopedic cultural knowledge that provides the domain, frame in which the word is made meaningful And script.
