挤出型微孔塑料笔头是七十年代为取代金属笔头而研制成的一种新颖书写工具。用这种笔头制作的各类墨水笔,不仅结构简单、成本低廉,而且出水流畅、书写润滑,除能在纸上书写外,还能采用特种墨水在木材、玻璃、搪瓷、皮革和塑料薄膜等制品上书写,用途十分广泛。国产挤出型微孔塑料笔头是上海制笔工业研究所和英雄金笔厂在1982年研制成功的。经上海轻工研究所测定分析,在耐磨性、浸润性、内外径尺寸、连续书写、字迹粗细、书写角度、抗弯曲变形力等书写性能方面基本上达到日本同类产品水平,具有实用价值。
