Kitsch作为源自德国的美学概念在20世纪下半叶迅速国际化并进入中国。本文试图对承载这一概念的历史现象进行梳理,并对德语的词源及目前两种出于完全不同翻译策略选择的中文译词的词源进行分析。本文认为针对附着不同社会历史文化发展因素的美学概念Kitsch进行翻译也存在多种可能,但在尚属意义杂糅的时期采取纯音译的方法不失为一种选择。
Kitsch quickly became internationalized and entered China in the second half of the 20th century as aesthetically derived from Germany. This article attempts to sort out the historical phenomenon that bears the concept and analyze the etymology of German etymology and the two etymological sources of Chinese translated words that are selected from two completely different translation strategies. This paper argues that there are many possibilities to translate Kitsch, which is a kind of aesthetic concept attached to different social historical and cultural development factors. However, the method of purely transliteration in the period of meaning mixing is an option.
