进入新世纪的第二个十年,叙事学研究在西方学界展现出更加火热的发展势头。学者们不满足于固有叙事学研究方法,通过结合跨学科研究的成果,不断开拓叙事研究的新视野,如近年来关于叙事作品中“社会心理”(social mind)的研究。与此同时,西方叙事学家们将目光转向被忽略的叙事文类或叙事特征,如近年来关于“非自然叙事”(unnatural narrative)的研究。

In the second decade of the new century, the studies of narratology have shown more fiery development momentum in western academic circles. Scholars are not satisfied with the method of the inherent narratology and continue to open up a new horizon of narrative research by combining the achievements of interdisciplinary research, such as the research on “social mind” in narrative works in recent years. At the same time, Western narratologists have turned their attention to neglected narrative genres or narrative features, such as the recent study of “unnatural narrative.”
