1987年3月3日,中国作协中外文学交流委员会向三位外国短篇小说译者颁发了“彩虹翻译奖”。荣获一等奖的北京大学英语系研究生姚锦清,是获奖者中最年轻的一位。他翻译了加拿大作家布里安·莫尔的《图尔洛舅舅》;二等奖的获得者是郑海凌,他翻译了苏联作家安娜·科兹洛夫斯卡娅的作品《夜莺大盗》(载《苏联文学》);获三等奖的是一位女性李英男,她的得奖译作为苏联作家阿纳尼耶夫的《活尸》(载《当代苏联文学》)。评委们认为,三篇获奖作品译文朴实、流畅,比较传神地体现了原作的精神,并已开始形成自己的风格。
On March 3, 1987, the Chinese Writers Association for Chinese and Foreign Literary Communication issued the “Rainbow Translation Award” to three foreign short story translators. Yao Jinqing, a graduate student of English at Peking University who won the first prize, is the youngest of the winners. He translated “Uncle Toururo” of the Canadian writer Briananne Moore; winner of the second prize was Zheng Hailing, who translated The Nightingale Thief of the Soviet writer Anna Kozlovskaya “Soviet literature”); third prize was a woman, Li Yingan, whose winning prize was translated as the “living corpse” of Soviet author Ananijyev (“Contemporary Soviet Literature”). The judges considered that the translations of the three winning entries were simple, fluent and vividly reflected the spirit of the original work and have begun to form their own style.
