我厂与一机部上海材料研究所、华中工学院、上海钢铁研究所等单位协作,选择了切边模、活塞销冲头等模具对四种新型模具钢进行了对比试验,就其热加工工艺、机加工工艺性能及使用情况作了对比试验。65Nb钢加工性能与韧性较好,尤其适用于冷挤成型的模具。LD_1钢机加工性一般,但强度高、耐磨性好。总之,四种新型模具钢用于螺钉切边模寿命比原高碳高铬铜Cr12MoV提高1~2.5倍。
