儿童观就是人们对于儿童这一群体的总体看法和基本观点。儿童观与儿童文学观有着紧密的联系,随着社会的发展而不断变化。在中国,儿童文学成为一门独立的文学门类始于五四新文化运动前后,中国现代儿童文学深受西方儿童观的影响,但中国的儿童文学历史源远流长,并且由于时代的变化、历史的变迁以及社会文化的差异,中西的儿童观有着出较大的差异,因此中国的儿童观及儿童文学观呈现出独特的色彩。
