大明山水源林自然保护区管理处白僵菌厂是广西区森防站白僵菌生产的定点厂之一。1986年以来,该厂在提高白僵菌粉产量和质量方面探索和积累了许多成功的经验。 菌种选育,提纯复壮,为菌粉生产提供可靠适用的优良菌种。 1.自然复壮。每年3～4月间,从飞机喷菌或人工撒菌防治马尾松毛虫的林区内采回新鲜僵虫,经组织分离后再进行单孢分离,用对比法筛选出营养生长和培养性状良好,产孢快,毒性强的优良单株作为母种,经两至三次扩大培养后供生产用。
