释放左旋18-甲基炔诺酮(LNG)的宫内节育器(IUD)简称LNG-IUD,近年来称之为LNG-IUS(levonorgestrel intrauterine system)与其他带铜IUD相比避孕效果好,能降低盆腔感染性疾病和宫外孕的发生率,哺乳期妇女可以安全使用,取出后迅速恢复正常月经周期和生育功能。LNG-IUS兼具激素和IUD的优点,并具有避孕和治疗子宫内膜异位症、子宫肌瘤、月经过多等妇科疾病和激素替代治疗功能,因而在一定程度上替代了子宫切除术。
