一九八四年高考语文试题比往年有明显变化,由偏重于考查语文知识转向偏重于考查语文能力。去年高考语文成绩也有正常的上升,湖北省考生及格者过半,优秀者不乏其人,整个成绩拉开了距离,以利选拔。而今年高考语文成绩出现了大幅度的“下降”,落到了令人费解的程度。是考生水平太差,还是中学语文教学质量下降?我们应当进行认真的分析。在此,我对今年的试题提出几点看法。
The examination questions in the 1984 college entrance exams have changed significantly from those of previous years, and the emphasis on language knowledge has shifted toward language skills. The scores of Chinese in the college entrance examinations have also risen normally in the past year. More than half of the examination candidates in Hubei Province are outstanding. There are no shortage of outstanding people. The entire result has opened up the distance for the sake of selection. This year, the scores of Chinese in the college entrance examination have experienced a “decline” and fall into a puzzling degree. Is the level of candidates too poor, or is the quality of Chinese teaching in secondary schools declining? We should conduct serious analysis. Here, I would like to make some observations on this year’s test questions.
