When the New Curriculum Standard was introduced a few years ago, my understanding on the teaching goal of “Emotions, Attitudes and Values” was that in one lesson, we should not only implement the instrumentalities but also embody humanism, Then just after the completion of the instrumental teaching task, add some more relevant humanities to expand, summarize and enhance; or in the teaching process, interspersed with some guiding students values language.
