笔者和孙忠和等同志在广东省翁源县岩庄水库正南的公路上,发现中泥盆统桂头组覆盖于贵东花岗岩体之上,其间花岗碎屑岩发育。该组岩石呈黄棕色,主要由云母片组成,中夹有少量长石和石英碎屑组成的条带,镜下观察,具明显的碎屑结构。在江西省全南县中寨附近公路北侧水渠旁,见到桂头组浅黄色粉砂岩、砂岩覆盖于英安质火山岩系之上。因此该火山岩系应为加里东期产物,而非前人所定的侏罗纪产物。该英安质火山岩系与贵东花岗岩体
On the highway south of Yanzhuang Reservoir in Wengyuan County, Guangdong Province, the author and Sun Zhonghe and other comrades found that the Middle Devonian Guitou Formation covered the Guidong granite body with the development of granitic clastic rocks. The rocks are yellow-brown in color and consist mainly of mica flakes with a small amount of bands of feldspar and quartz clasts that are microscopically observed and have clear detrital structures. Next to the canal on the north side of Zhongzhai near Quanzhai in Jiangxi Province, the pale yellow siltstone of the Guantou Formation was seen. The sandstone covered the Yinganian volcanic rock series. Therefore, the volcanic rock should be the Caledonian product rather than the Jurassic product set by the predecessor.
