2000年是深入贯彻第三次全国教育工作会议精神,全面落实《中共中央国务院关于深化教育改革全面推进素质教育的决定》和《面向21世纪教育振兴行动计划》的关键一年.高举邓小平理论伟大旗帜,深化改革,全面推进素质教育,坚持积极发展的方针,把发展的着力点放在提高质量、效益和办出特色上;回忆中等职业教育特别是中专教育的办学体制和管理体制改革、教学改革、招生和毕业生就业制度改革;继续做好中等职业学校布局结构调整工作和国家级重点中等职业学校评估工作;继续推进面向21世纪职业教育课程改革和教材建设规划、50个全国重点建设职教师资培养培训基地项目、现代远程职业教育资源建设项目和社区教育实验项目的实施.
