晚三迭世含煤地层在区内分布很广泛,以往总认为它含煤性较差,故重视不够。近年来,随着工作的深入,逐步发现它在不少地方仍含有可采和局部可采煤层,并具一定的经济价值;另外,又多数和侏罗系相伴随,两者关系比较密切,故搞清它的层序、分布规律和古地理面貌等对侏罗系煤田的予测也有积极的作用。为此,笔者在本文中拟就前人的有关工作成果,从煤田地质的角度对该地层作一初步的归纳和总结,提出几点粗浅的看法,有不妥之处诚请同志们批评、指正。
