A preliminary study on the fold-thrust structural style in Meishan, Changxing, Zhejiang Province

Many previous studies of Meishan, Changxing, have been made on paleontology,sedimentology and paleomagnetism, and less on the deformational characteristics.The authors’ recent work indicates that the region is characterized by fold-thrust structural style. Since the type section of the Upper Permian Changxing Formation (P_2ch) was proposed to be established in Meishan, Changxing by many geologists, this note documents the field features of the fold-thrust structural style, as well as its influence on type section of the Upper Permian Changxing Formation.
