以“词”为中心的认知方式会损害英语表达的地道性。英语表达作为构成句子的基本元素,对其意义的理解不能停留在单词意义的简单相加的层面。我们注意到一些英语表达呈现意义和结构上的整体性(togetherness)。本文研究了复合词、词组、惯用语等英语表达中存在的整体性,并试图理解不同类型的英语表达的整体性程度高低的原因。
Cognitive methods centered on “word ” can impair the authenticity of English expression. As the basic element that constitutes the sentence, English expression can not be understood simply by the simple addition of the meaning of the word. We note that some English expressions present meaning and structuralness togetherness. This paper studies the integrative nature of compound expressions, phrases, idioms and other English expressions, and attempts to understand the reasons for the different levels of English expression.
