We conducted a survey of researchers and builders working on spray, dryer, and spray heat transfer equipment. Those who were invited to give an account of the processes and equipment that require special attention. Here are some of the issues (eg, how to atomize a unified theory; how to evaluate the performance of the spray (which is used to dissolve air into the water to enhance the mass transfer process); to calculate the Comprehensive model; etc.). The conclusion is that many research questions can be found in industry when the actual needs have been put forward and innovative approaches that replace traditional methods with spray methods have been developed.
