英语阅读能力的高低是衡量一个人英语水平的重要尺度,直接影响着人们信息收集与吸收的效率与效果,也影响听、说、写、译等其他能力的进步与提高。阅读教学应该是英语技能教学的重点和核心。本文从英语阅读能力对语言能力形成的重要性、篇章阅读教学模式以及篇章阅读教学实践三个方面进行述评。
The level of reading ability in English is an important measure of a person’s English proficiency, which directly affects the efficiency and effectiveness of people’s information collection and absorption, as well as the progress and improvement of other abilities such as listening, speaking, writing and translating. Reading teaching should be the focus and core of English skill teaching. This article reviews the importance of English reading ability in the formation of language ability, the text reading teaching mode and the practice of text reading teaching.
