从近二年我校学生毕业设计的作品中发现,具有民族特色的设计作品实在太少。学生对传统工艺美术,对中国画、书法等中国传统艺术的认识非常浅薄,这不得不引起我们美术教学工作者的注意。为此,在教学中必须加强传统美术知识与技法的传授,使学生心目中树立起民族设计思想的地位,确立民族美术的地位,并从基础课抓起。基础课中分绘画基础课、专业基础课两类。专业基础中的图案、装饰画、造型等课程可以直接让学生学习传统美术。如传统图案纹样、民间织染纹样、画像砖、木版年画、民间剪纸、战国漆器等等,丰富的资料可作为学生学习的范本,而在绘画基础课中如何来渗透传统
