日前在南京参加一海峡两岸经济研讨会,会上结识了一些来自台湾宝岛的同行,就一些共同感兴趣的问题进行了会上会下的交流,颇有收获。而感到收获更大的是,听了叶万安先生对台湾著名经济学家李国鼎老先生学术思想的介绍,看了他提交给会议的介绍李国鼎经济思想的论文,又买到了东南大学出版社刚刚出版的“国鼎丛书’之一、之二:《台湾经济高速发展的经验》、《台湾经济发展背后的政策演变》两书,对李国鼎老先生丰富而又有实践意义的经济思想,有了初步的了解。说实话,在此之前,我连李国鼎这个名字都没听说过。随着我对李国鼎经济思想了解的深入,我才知识李国鼎是台湾经济奇迹的主要谋划者之一,几十年来为台湾经济发展提出了许许多多远见卓识、切实可行的经济、科技政策,是“工业园区”这一发展模式在全世界的首创者,美国哈佛大学专门办有“国鼎讲座”,定期请他去讲学,可以说是一位世界知名的经济学家。而我却对此一无所知,我深感自己的孤陋寡闻,深感对台湾经济学界太缺乏了解。
Recently I attended an economic seminar on both sides of the Taiwan Strait in Nanjing. I met some of my counterparts from Taiwan’s Taiwan Island at the conference and exchanged views on some issues of common interest. And what is more rewarding is that after hearing Mr. Ye Wanan’s introduction of the academic thought of Mr. Li Guoding, a well-known Taiwanese economist, he read the paper that he presented to the conference and introduced the economic thought of Li Guoding and also just published the book published by Southeast University Press Two books of “Guoding Series”: “The Experiences of Taiwan’s Rapid Economic Development,” and “The Evolution of Policies Behind Taiwan’s Economic Development.” There are preliminary and profound comments on the rich and practical economic thinking of Mr. Li Guoding, To tell you the truth, before that, I never heard of the name of Li Guoding.With the deepening of my understanding of Li Guodong’s economic thinking, I learned that Li Guoding is one of the major planners of the economic miracle in Taiwan. For decades, Taiwan’s economic development has put forward many far-sighted and practical economic and science and technology policies. It is the pioneer of the “industrial park” development model throughout the world. Harvard University has a special lecture on “National Diplomacy” and regularly invites him To lecture, can be said to be a world-renowned economist, but I do not know anything about it, I deeply feel ignorant, deeply on Taiwan’s economics There is too little understanding in the world
