“当当”是一家网上书店。中国的网上书店目前有200多家,美国是1500多家。全世界都知道美国最大的网上书店Amazon,这家曾无限风光的网上书店是互联网飞速发展史上新经济对旧经济的启蒙,它成为后来无数网上零售、B TO C模式COPY的模型。对于中国互联网来说,套用一个文学批评中“原型”的概念——Amazon是电子商务的原型。Amazon在给Nasdaq提交了一个并不太好看的财务报表后,同其他网络股一起经历了其股价大幅动荡的2000年的4月、5月。许多中国的网上书店都有自己的宣言。在前期国内“网站也疯狂”的大肆炒作中,要不是突然在今年4月份出现了8848黑客捣乱当当的那段公案,广大网民以及传统媒体的受众还根本腾不出工夫来“注意”当当。所以不管事实真相如何,被网站比傻搞得烦躁厌倦的“受众”们已经没有耐心等待有关部门的调查结果,评判是非公论。以至于一些网上有觉悟的民间评论家在BBS上挖苦8848和当当借所谓的黑客“说事儿”,以炒作自己,大家都感到网站太闹了!其实传统媒体也够闹的,它们参与了互联网的造神运动,为网站的失去理性提供服务。然而在喧嚣与鼓噪之后,媒体是否感到了自己的责任? 中国的互联网企业,它们究竟要干什么?那些创业者以及经营者在想什么?他们都做过什么,为什么要做?他们是怎样做的?他们能给我们哪些有益的启示?他们创造的价值和未来能否给我们的生活带来变化?给我们以希望? 本期人物是当当网上书店的联合总裁俞渝。
Dangdang is an online bookstore. There are currently over 200 online bookstores in China and more than 1,500 in the United States. As the world knows Amazon, the largest online bookstore in the United States, this once-in-a-lifetime online bookstore is the enlightenment of the new economy in the history of the rapid Internet development to the old economy. It has become the model for numerous online retail and COPY models afterwards. For the Chinese Internet, the concept of a “prototype” in literary criticism is applied - Amazon is the prototype of e-commerce. After Amazon submitted a not-so-good financial statement to Nasdaq, Amazon experienced its stock price turmoil in April and May 2000 with other network stocks. Many Chinese online bookstores have their own manifesto. In the pre-national “website crazy” wantonly hype, either in April of this year there suddenly appeared 8848 hackers misfortune during that period of publicity, the majority of Internet users and traditional media audience are simply no time to “pay attention” Dangdang. So regardless of the truth, the site is fatigued by the silly tired of the “audience” who have no patience to wait for the findings of the relevant departments, the judgments are non-public. So that some online critically acclaimed nonsense critics on the BBS sarcastic 8848 and Dangdang to use the so-called hacker “to say things” to hype themselves, we all feel the site is too hasty!
