OBJECTIVE: To analyze the expression of P53 and estrogen receptor (ER) in invasive breast cancer and its relationship with the clinicopathological features and the correlation between the two and to explore its role in the development of invasive breast cancer Role. Methods: Totally 235 cases of primary invasive breast cancer treated in our hospital from 2008 to June 2013 were collected. The expression of P53 and ER in breast cancer tissues was detected by immunohistochemical SP method. The clinical and pathological features The relationship between the two and the correlation between them. Results: The positive rates of P53 and ER in breast cancer tissues were 31.9% and 56.6%, respectively, which were significantly higher than those in normal tissues (P <0.05). The expression of ER in breast cancer tissues was only related to the age of the patients but not to the TNM stage. The expression of P53 was not related to the age and TNM stage of the patients, but there was a significant negative correlation between the expression of P53 and ER (P <0.05, r = -0.174). Conclusion: Both P53 and ER are highly expressed in invasive breast cancer, and both are significantly negative correlation.
