拱形明洞因受偏压其左边墙压力曲线偏向外侧(图1)。显然从截面受力合理及减少圬工观点出发,应改为内倾斜式(如图1虚线所示)。但内倾斜式边墙给片石圬工的施工带来困难,若改为混凝土就地灌筑则造价增高,减少的片石圬工价值难以抵偿,故多年来明洞外边墙的设计与施工均沿用直立式。1978至1979年在黔桂线楠木寨明洞设计与施工中采用内倾斜式边墙获得成功。现详述如下。
