2010年以来,中国电信湖北公司(以下简称湖北电信)把农村信息化乡镇建设作为农村信息化和建设社会主义新农村的重要内容,得到了广大农户的积极响应和地方政府的大力支持,实现了社会效益和企业效益的双赢。截至目前,湖北电信已建成首批44个信息化试点乡镇,成功开通了44个农村信息化乡镇网站。网络整改建完成后网络能力大大增强,44个信息化试点乡镇的行政村平均通光率由整改建前的66%提升到整改建后的93%,自然村平均通光率由整改建前的46%提升到整改建后的71%,用户故障率由整改建前的22%下降为整改建后的6%,维护成本也相应降低,用户满意度由整改建前的80%上升为整改建后的95%。
