自古以来,学者骚人就有“读万卷书,行万里路”的主张。这确是求知为学的精辟之言,尤其教书育人如吾辈者更明白内涵的深刻。然而,读万卷书、行万里路谈何容易!买书几多钱?行路几多钱?阮囊羞涩者只能徒然长叹。比较起来,还是前者的难度小一点。买不起书,可以借阅;纵然眼看图书馆一家家改弦更张,那书毕竟还有地方可借的。为此,我拟下一副对联:
Since ancient times, scholars have expressed their opinions of “read thousands of books and travel thousands of miles”. This is indeed an incisive language for seeking knowledge. In particular, people who teach and educate people, such as ours, have a deeper understanding of the meaning. However, it is easy to read thousands of books and travel thousands of miles! How much money to buy a book? How much money does it take? How can you be ashamed? In comparison, the former is less difficult. If you can’t afford a book, you can borrow it; even if you see the library’s family changing course, there is still room for you to borrow. For this purpose, I propose a couplet:
