英语学习不仅仅是语言知识的学习,也是对该语言所蕴涵文化习俗的了解。在英语教学中,由于文化差异的影响,学生不能正确理解所听、所读的材料,导致他们所说所写内容和方式不够得体、恰当。因此,如何培养学生的跨文化意识是当前亟待解决的问题,本文拟对中学英语教学中跨文化意识的培养和课堂教学策略谈点看法。
English learning is not only the study of language knowledge, but also the understanding of the cultural implication of the language. In English teaching, due to cultural differences, students can not correctly understand what they listen to or read, leading to what they say is not written properly and in a proper way. Therefore, how to cultivate students’ cross-cultural awareness is a problem to be solved urgently. This paper attempts to talk about the cultivation of cross-cultural awareness and classroom teaching strategies in English teaching in middle schools.
