作者指出,我国地球科学研究历史悠久,诸如《易经》、《山海经》、《水经注》、《梦溪笔谈》、《徐霞客游记》等,在我国传统自然科学中都占有光辉的一页。我国现代地球科学研究更是成果显赫,素有八大家之称,李四光的《地质力学》和黄汲清的《中国主要地质构造单元》享誉全球。20世纪60年代发展起来的板块构造理论是地球科学的一次革命,被人们普遍接受。作者认为,板块构造登陆产生了一系列理论和实际问题,一些有识之士提出建立新的大陆构造理论。我国是以大陆构造为主体的国家,大陆构造的核心是山原盆系,科学而客观地阐明山原盆系的形成和演化,将是全球动力学的中心议题,作者指出,应不失时机地建立新的地球科学理论体系。——编者
The author points out that the earth science research in our country has a long history, such as Yi Jing, Shan Hai Jing, Shuijing Jing, Meng Xi Bi Tan, Xu Xiake Travel and so on, all of which have a brilliant one in China’s traditional natural sciences page. The modern geoscience research in our country is even more successful. It has been said by a great many people, and Li Siguang’s “Geomechanics” and Huang Jiqing’s “China’s major geological structural unit” are well-known throughout the world. The plate tectonics developed in the 1960s was a revolution in earth science and was generally accepted. The author believes that a series of theoretical and practical problems have arisen in the construction of plate tectonics. Some people of insight have proposed to establish a new theory of continental tectonics. China is a country dominated by the mainland. The core of the continental structure is the Shanyuan basin. The scientific and objective elucidation of the formation and evolution of the Shanyuan basin will be the central topic of global dynamics. The author points out that it is time to establish a new Earth science theory system. --editor
