中国和东盟各国有应用传统医药的历史,随着东盟经济区的建立和发展,传统医药已被纳入中国与东盟经济、社会合作的重点领域。学校在广西科技厅专项基金的资助下,进行中泰药用植物专业数据库的建设,在互联网上实现研究信息共享,为中泰两国在药用植物研究领域相互交流、合作与开发提供基础的信息服务。其成功建设可为构建“中国-东盟药用植物信息库”提供一个模式,并为今后继续建设信息量更为丰富的药用专业数据库及其他相关数据库的建设奠定基础。从构建信息库的意义和设计思路等方面进行了探讨和阐述。
