阿姆斯特丹国立博物馆(Rijksmuseu)是荷兰最大的博物馆,以“黄金时代”的绘画收藏闻名于世,包括伦勃朗的《夜巡》、维米尔的《拿着水罐的女人》等传世名作。它现在的博物馆建筑由荷兰哥特建筑师皮埃尔·库依柏斯(P.J.H.Cuypers)设计,已有一百多年历史。1998年博物馆方面提出全面革新和改造旧建筑的计划,2004年动工,预计2008年完工,目标是在保持原始建筑结构的基础上,获得更好的服务和设施。2005年9月5日,阿姆斯特丹国立美术馆收藏总监皮特·斯格莫德先生(Peter Sigmond)随同由荷兰科学和文化部副部长范德兰女士(Medy van der Laan)率领的文化代表团访问中国,寻求与中国同行的对话与合作。在招待会上,斯格莫德先生接受了本刊记者专访。
The Rijksmuseu, the largest museum in the Netherlands, is best known for its “Golden Age” paintings, including Rembrandt’s Night Watch and Vermeer’s The Woman Holding a Jug . Its current museum building was designed by the Dutch gothic architect P.J.H.Chuypers and has a history of more than 100 years. In 1998, the museum proposed a plan to comprehensively renovate and transform old buildings. Construction started in 2004 and is expected to be completed in 2008 with the goal of obtaining better services and facilities based on the original building structure. On September 5, 2005, Peter Sigmond, Collection Director of the National Gallery of Amsterdam, visited China with a cultural delegation led by Medy van der Laan, Vice Minister of the Netherlands Ministry of Science and Culture Dialogue and cooperation with Chinese counterparts. At the reception, Mr. Sigmund accepted an interview with our correspondents.
