Objective: To observe the efficacy of Guben detoxification combined with FOLFOX4 regimen in the treatment of advanced or recurrent rectal cancer. Methods: A total of 60 patients with advanced or recurrent rectal cancer were randomly divided into two groups. The experimental group was given 30 cases of TCDD combined with FOLFOX4 chemotherapy. The control group was treated with FOLFOX4 chemotherapy alone. After 3 cycles, Group patients with tumor size, symptoms, quality of life, adverse reactions to chemotherapy. Results: There was no significant difference between the two groups (P> 0.05). There were significant differences in TCM symptom scores before and after treatment in the two groups (P <0.05), and there was no significant difference in TCM syndrome scores before and after treatment in the control group (P> 0.05). There was significant difference in TCM syndrome scores between the two groups after treatment (P <0.05), and the experimental group was better than the control group. The incidence of leukopenia and digestive tract reaction in the two groups were significantly different (P <0.05). The experimental group was superior to the control group, and there was no significant difference in the incidence of hepatic dysfunction and neurotoxicity between the two groups (P> 0.05). The KPS score of the experimental group was 74.58% (36.79%), the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P <0.05), the experimental group was better than the control group. Conclusion: Guben detoxification combined with FOLFOX4 regimen in the treatment of advanced or recurrent rectal cancer can significantly improve the clinical symptoms, reduce the side effects of chemotherapy, improve patient quality of life, played a role in attenuation and synergy.
