关键词:和谐社会民主法治助推和谐事件回放:2006年10月8日,十六届六中全会在北京召开,会议审议通过《中共中央关于构建社会主义和谐社会若干重大问题的决定》。《决定》确定了到2020年构建社会主义和谐社会的九大目标和任务。其中,第一项目标和任务就是:社会主义民主法制更加完善,依法治国基本方略得到全面落实,人民的权益得到切实尊重和保障。

The meeting examined and approved the “Decision of the CPC Central Committee on Several Major Issues concerning Building a Harmonious Socialist Society.” The “Decision” sets the nine major goals and tasks for building a socialist harmonious society by 2020. Among them, the first goal and task are as follows: the socialist democratic legal system will be further improved and the basic strategy of governing the country according to law has been fully implemented, and the people’s rights and interests have been effectively respected and guaranteed.
