橡胶原木的菌害程度随原木的保存期延长而加剧,尤其是在堆放一个月以后,菌害明显地增加。砍伐后的新鲜原木当经过端面涂刷防腐处理后,如果在一个月内不能及时加工,就必须进行第二次端面处理。第二次端面涂刷可在第一次处理后一个月进行,可用浓度为1％的多菌灵水溶液或浓度为5％的五氯酚钠柴油悬浮合剂涂刷原木端面,但从保存效果看,后者优于前者。另外,由于多菌灵不能直接溶于水,需要用稀酸溶解,而五氯酚钠柴油悬浮合剂制备简单,成本低,我们推荐使用五氯酚钠柴油悬浮合剂。
