应中国科学院邀请,美国斯坦福化学公司研究发展部主任、美籍华人化学协会主席华家熙先生于4月25日至5月5日来我国访问。华家熙先生曾多次来我国访问,积极促进中美两国化学家的科技交流活动。去年,他专门组织了美籍高分子科技代表团来我国讲学访问,受到各有关单位的欢迎。返美后,他在美国组纵了美籍华人化学协会(Chinese Amorican Chemical Association,简称CACA),被推选为该协会主席。华先生
At the invitation of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Mr. Hua Jiaxi, Director of Research and Development Department of Stanford Chemical Company and President of Chinese American Chemistry Association, came to visit China from April 25 to May 5. Mr. Hua Jiaxi visited China many times and actively promoted the exchange of science and technology between chemists in China and the United States. Last year, he specially organized a delegation of American-based polymer scientists to visit China for lectures and was welcomed by all the relevant agencies.
