以旅游行业、窗口行业从业人员的语言服务意识与能力直接影响着一座城市的人文形象,但是,目前从城市人文形象建构、城市文化整体发展的视角来对窗口行业从业者语言能力进行的研究还较为少见。因此,本文旨在将语言研究与文化研究相结合,将行业语言服务问题纳入城市文化研究的范畴,通过对旅游行业从业人员语言服务状况的调查,探讨提高窗口行业从业人员语言服务能力的途径,并在此基础上,思考如何通过完善行业语言服务,推动城市人文形象的构建。
