安棚天然碱矿是目前世界上已发现的埋藏最深的古代天然碱矿藏，开发难度很大．但是，经过矿藏特征研究，用钻孔水溶工艺进行生产开发是可行的。在开发过程、工艺技术紧密与矿藏特征结合的情况下，形成了一套建井、建槽、对溶、助溶等工艺技术。地层应力测试资料在固体矿藏开发应用上取得了很好的效果。深层钻孔水溶工艺技术，使低溶解度固体矿藏开发取得了成功。
