This paper describes the phenomenon of nostalgia as a sui generis kind of value by expanded analyzing on the concept of classic elegance proposed by Wang Guowei. For broadening the human spiritual horizons in the light of the philosophy of value,the author discusses the following problems:(1) the value of phenomenon of collecting antiques,(2) the primary factors in the valuation of antique,(3) the phenomenon derived from nostalgia,and (4) the quality of value from classic elegance to nostalgia.
