补骨脂一药始载于《雷公炮炙论》,为豆科植物补骨脂(Psoralea corylifolia L.)的果实,原植物为一年生草本。异名:胡韭子、破故纸、黑故子等。木蝴蝶一药始载于《本草纲目拾遗》,为紫葳科植物木蝴蝶[Oroxylam indicum(L.) Vent.]的种子,原植物为多年生高大小本。异名:千张纸、三百两银药、玉蝴蝶、白故子、云故纸等。两药的性味和功能主治相异。
