蒙特哥贝医院位于一块倾斜的高地上,俯视着牙买加的第二大城市蒙特哥贝。蒙特哥贝地处蒙特哥湾,倚山傍水,风光绮丽,日照充足,气候宜人。蒙特哥贝医院的设计充分利用了所在环境的特点,把门诊、住院和行政后勤三个主要部门按其功能作用和谐地组织起来。在体型构图上,十层的住院部成为重点,立面作了具有当地传统特色的处理;其北偏西的朝向,使之面对海洋,可充分利用从海上吹来的微风。单走廊护理单元则做开敞式处理,自然通风,既利用了自然条件,也适应当地居民的生活习惯。每个护理单元按25人的标准设
Montego Bay Hospital is located on a sloping hill overlooking the Montego Bay, Jamaica’s second largest city. Montego Bay is located in Montego Bay and is surrounded by mountains and rivers, beautiful scenery, abundant sunshine and a pleasant climate. The design of the Montego Bay Hospital took full advantage of the characteristics of the environment in which it was located and organized the three main departments of outpatient, inpatient and administrative logistics in a harmonious manner according to their functional roles. In terms of body composition, the 10-story inpatient department has become a key point, and the facade has been treated with local traditional features; its north-northeast orientation makes it possible to face the ocean and make full use of the breeze blowing from the sea. The single-aisle care unit is open-handled and naturally ventilated, taking advantage of both natural conditions and the habits of local residents. Each nursing unit is based on a standard of 25 people
