2008年全明星赛Logo 7月18日,NBA在新奥尔良的Tulane大学首次向媒体公布了2008年第57届全明星赛的Logo。新赛季的全明星赛将于2008年的2月18日在新奥尔良体育馆举办,这也是新奥尔良历史上首次举办NBA全明星赛事。Logo图案颜色由凫蓝,紫色、以及金色三色组成,寓意了新奥尔良这个城市音乐.戏剧方面的宝贵文化传统,八个金色喇叭、两个鸢尾花形图案,以及两个四分之一大小的戏剧包厢图案,均是对新奥尔良悠久的音乐、戏剧历史的彰显。在联盟公布的全明星赛的新Logo的现场,前NBA巨星克莱德·德雷克斯勒,现黄蜂队球员希尔顿·阿姆斯特朗,以及美国女篮的传奇人物卡特琳娜·麦克蕾均出席了本次揭幕仪式,超过250名年龄在9—13岁的少年身穿印有2008年全明星赛Logo的T-shirt.前来庆祝新奥尔良这一盛事,均为新奥尔良的当地居民。全明星赛在新奥尔良举行有着特殊的意义,2005年卡特琳娜飓风几乎摧毁了这个城市的经济,全明星赛在新奥尔良举行将会大大地刺激城市的经济增长,不过也有球员以安全为由抵制新奥尔良举办全明星赛。

At the league’s All-Star Game’s new Logo site, former NBA superstars Clyde Drexler, the Hornets player Hilton Armstrong, and the U.S. women’s basketball legend Catherine McClelke attended The opening ceremony, more than 250 young people aged 9-13 wearing a T-shirt printed with the All-Star Game logo to celebrate the New Orleans event, are natives of New Orleans. All-Star Game held in New Orleans has a special significance, Hurricane Katrina in 2005 almost destroyed the city’s economy, the All-Star Game held in New Orleans will greatly stimulate the city’s economic growth, but also for players on the grounds of security Boycott New Orleans for the All-Star Game.
