雕塑作为特殊的艺术表现形式,现如今已经成为城市文化的象征,是城市的精灵。可以说,如今城市雕塑是对整个城市文化、价值观念、审美取向等的一种集中体现。图腾作为城市雕塑也是作为城市的象征和文化出现的。图腾雕塑以其独特的魅力、艺术语言形式凸显了城市文化的艺术美,能够有效的吸引群众的眼光。时代在进步,当代的建筑雕塑已经走向多元化发展道路,由装饰符号走向了城市图腾,展现出城市雕塑创作的图腾化现象。
