美国高校信息素养教育在当前自媒体时代得到了迅猛发展,结合美国高校信息素养教育的探索与创新,可以把美国高校信息素养教育分为三种典型:嵌入式信息素养教育模式、递增式信息素养教育模式和交互式信息素养教育模式。在自媒体时代,美国高校信息素养教育呈现出以政府支持为主,形成全民共识;立足本校特色,力求多元化发展;以学生为主体,寻求深度共享;以通识教育为基础,整合教育资源的特征,对我国信息素养教育的发展具有一定借鉴意义。
