生物学教学中,常常要用到模型、挂图、活体生物、生物标本等直观教具。其中学生最感兴趣的,还是生物标本与活体生物。但受季节、地域及学校条件的限制,不少生物教师在教学中无法获得活体生物及生物标本,影响了教学效果及教学质量。教学实践中,我发现部分动物的躯壳没有物尽其用,试将其制成躯壳标本,用于教学,效果不错。如常见的蝉、虾(部分)、蟹、河蚌及螺类等。现简介如下: 一、躯壳标本的采集、制作与保存 1、躯壳的采集 由于制作该类标本的材料主要是动物的躯壳,所以既可以采集活体动物,如蟹类、螺类等;也可以只在野外采集动物的空外壳,如蝉的蝉蜕、贝类的空贝壳等;还可以收
