“有些人明明犯了罪,且在犯罪现场被公安人员抓住,为什么不称他们为罪犯,却称他们为犯罪嫌疑人?”笔者经常遇到学生问这样的问题。我们要想弄清其中的原因,还得从一条重要的司法原则——“无罪推定”说起。
“Some people clearly sinned and were caught by public security personnel at the scene of the crime. Why did they not be called criminals but called them criminal suspects?” I often meet with students asking such questions. If we want to find out the reasons for this, we must start with an important judicial principle, “presumption of innocence.”
