From May 23 to 27, 2005, the Eighth Beijing International Science and Technology Exposition (Beijing) was held in Beijing International Exhibition Center. In addition to the 31 delegates from 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, 56 delegations from international organizations, foreign governments and enterprises attended the summit. This session of the “Science Fair” highlights the theme of scientific and technological progress and economic development, shows the progress of science and technology in the economy and society
