幽门螺杆菌感染系世界范围广泛存在且最常见的细菌感染 ,近年国外研究认为 :幽门螺杆菌感染是造成或加重机体铁营养不良的因素 ,特别是对于铁缺乏、缺铁性贫血的危险人群 (包括儿童 )。当机体处于铁营养相对不足的状态下 ,如同时并存幽门螺杆菌感染 ,通过铁的摄入量及吸收减少、机体对铁需求增加、铁流失等铁代谢变化 ,可出现明显铁缺乏及缺铁性贫血。在幽门螺杆菌摄取铁的过程中 ,乳铁蛋白及其受体扮演了重要角色。
