由中国艺术研究院主办的首届“中国戏曲艺术国际学术讨论会”于4月15日至21日在京举行。中宣部副部长王维澄、文化部副部长英若诚、中国剧协主席曹禺、中国剧协副主席刘厚生等出席了开幕式。会议由中国剧协副主席张庚、郭汉城主持。出席这次会议的代表均为国内外从事戏曲研究工作的学者、专家和研究人员。其中国内代表五十余人,分别来自全国二十五个省、自治区和直辖市以及香港地区;国外代表近二十人,来自美国、澳大利亚、捷克斯洛伐克、法国、德意志联邦共和国、荷兰、意大利、日本、波兰、苏联、瑞典和英国等国家。代表们提交了七十六篇学术论文,这些论文
The first “International Symposium on Chinese Traditional Opera” organized by China Academy of Art was held in Beijing from April 15 to April 21. Wang Weicheng, vice minister of the Central Propaganda Department, Ying Ruocheng, vice minister of the Ministry of Culture, Cao Yu, chairman of the Chinese Theater Association, and Liu Housheng, vice chairman of the Chinese Theater Association attended the opening ceremony. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Geng and Guo Hancheng, vice presidents of China Drama Association. All the delegates attending this conference are scholars, experts and researchers engaged in drama research at home and abroad. Among them there are more than 50 representatives in the country, from 25 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government as well as Hong Kong. There are nearly 20 foreign representatives from the United States, Australia, Czechoslovakia, France, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Japan Poland, the Soviet Union, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
