科技名词的规范与统一是一个国家科学技术健康有序发展的必然要求和重要条件。改革开放以来,我国科技名词规范化工作在取得引人注目成绩的同时,也面临着一个非常突出的问题:总体上一直处于无法可依的状态。加强科技名词立法工作将有力地推动规范科技名词的推广应用,从而促进我国科技、文化和教育事业的繁荣发展。本刊特辟专栏,讨论我国科技名词立法工作的必要性和重要性。
The standardization and unification of scientific and technological terms is an inevitable requirement and an important condition for the healthy and orderly development of science and technology in a country. Since the reform and opening up, while standardization of scientific and technological terms in our country has made remarkable achievements, it also faces a very prominent problem: on the whole, it has always been in an impossible position. Strengthening the scientific and technical terminology legislation will strongly promote the promotion and application of scientific and technological terms so as to promote the prosperity and development of science and technology, culture and education in our country.
