我国是一个多民族的国家,有数千年光辉灿烂的历史,有极为丰富而宝贵的文化遗产,古籍是其文明的重要历史文献和历史标志。对古籍进行科学的整理和研究,是“一项十分重要的、关系到子孙后代的工作”,在建设有中国特色的社会主义事业中,批判地继承和发扬祖国的传统文化和文明,无疑有着重要的积极意义。解放后,在这方面做了大量的工作,取得了可喜的成绩;特别是一九八一年中央关于整理我国古籍的指示下达后,全国各地更加积极,成绩更为斐然。一般说来,整理出版的古籍,质量是好的比较好的,其中不乏稀见的珍本;有的还进行了同步的研究。但有的整理,从标点、校勘、注释以至排版印刷等方面,还存在一些问题,尤其是一些传本较少的古籍,原本读者不容易见到,而整理本又错漏颇多,以讹传讹,造成不应有的损害。我由于工作和兴趣所致,对这方面的情况有所留意。其中,我感到《饮膳正要》的整理,错讹之处不少,有一定的代表性。下面以其点校本为例,略陈管见。
