北京画院为庆祝中华人民共和国建国50周年、北平和平解放50周年于1999年5月15日在中国美术馆举办《北京画院研修生作品邀请展》,共展出70余件作品,受到画坛内外的欢迎和关注。但是,许多人对北京画院的教学历史与教学状况并不了解。 北京画院在1957年成立的时候,周恩来总理就画院工作提出了“努力创作、加强研究,不断提高,培养后代”的任务(见1957年5月14日周恩来在北京中国画院成立大会上的致词)。建院初期,画院开设了进修班,一些有成就的老画家在完成创作任务之外,参与了进修生的教育工作,培养了一些人才。后来这项工作因种种原因而停止了一段时间。
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 50th anniversary of the peaceful liberation of Peking, the Beijing Academy of Painting held “Invitational Exhibition of Beijing Academy of Art Painters” at the China Art Museum on May 15, 1999. A total of 70 works were exhibited at the Beijing Art Academy, Welcome and attention. However, many people do not understand the teaching history and teaching status of Beijing Art Academy. When Beijing Fine Art Academy was founded in 1957, Premier Zhou Enlai put forward the task of “creating hard work, strengthening research, continuously improving and cultivating future generations” at the academy (see Zhou Enlai’s speech at the founding ceremony of Beijing Chinese Painting Academy on May 14, 1957) . In the early days of the founding of the academy, the academy opened a workshop, and some accomplished old painters participated in the educational work of cultivating students and trained some talents besides completing their creative tasks. Later, the work stopped for a variety of reasons for some time.
